Nick Wooster, Creative Director of Menswear for JC Penny
Every September, the world’s fashion elite flock to the fashion capitals of London, New York, Milan and Paris to celebrate their communal passion for fashion curb their eagerness to peruse what designers have conjured up for the new season. Let’s take a look at the best street style shots from this year’s fashion month....

The Toons at New York Fashion Week

New York Fashion Week is nearly over but there's no stopping our favourite '90s cartoon characters making an appearance! Swagger New York and fashion designer, Michele Moricci, have collaborated to bring our much-loved toons to the fashion scene, and all in renowned fashion labels. Daria wears Prabal Gurung, reflecting her statement nonchalance, Beavis & Butthead don the outrageous Jeremy Scott, Captain Planet channels the sports-luxe trend in Hood by Air, Lisa Simpson looks daintily sexy in Marc Jacobs and Sailor Moon backs up her iconic cuteness in the classically sophisticated Rodarte. There's no doubt these characters could definitely stand out on the streets of New York!

The Crows and The Peacocks

The impeccable style of men over the last 2 weeks have been outstanding. The comeback of the fashionable man is well and truly here, and as famed fashion critic Suzy Menkes says about the street style phenomenon, "There are the Crows and the Peacocks". Well, it looks like women have a formidable force of fashion to reckon with - the man. Here are some of the best street style from London Collections: Men, Milan Men's Fashion Week and Paris Men's Fashion Week Spring/Summer 2014...

The "It" Crowd at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia

Photo by StyleCreeper (Emelie Lundqvist and George Cunningham)
When Fashion Week hits, Stylists, Bloggers, Writers, Fashion Editors and Buyers flock to appreciate the country's emerging and established fashion designers upcoming collections, and it is our duty to represent these creative minds on the streets by giving them the justice of incorporating their pieces into our outfits. This years Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia has proven that us Australians are a force to be reckoned with in terms of street style and fashion design, so here are my favourite street style photographs from last week:

The Real Runway is on the Streets

Ever since The Sartorialist started the street style photography craze, their is no doubt that the real runway is outside the shows, where Editors from Fashion Magazines and Publications, Head Buyers, Stylists, Models, Fashion Bloggers and Celebrities eagerly await access into the show venue. Like bees to a flower, as the herd of fashionistas and fashionistos make their way to the show, street style photographers snap away... Here are my favourites from the Menswear Autumn/Winter 2013 shows (London, Milan and Paris).

Nick Wooster - Creative Director of Menswear for JC Penney, looking classy as always
