I'm Expensive Wool Dress by Laurel & Hector Vintage, Gold Crest Pendant Necklace by Chosen By, Editors Blazer by Mink Pink |
For this month's Bizarre Bazaar campaign, fashion photographer Rebecca Cook, or rather Revka, captured the duality of Gemini-esque twins in looks featuring both timeless and modern day sophisticated pieces. The photo above looks at peoples' ability to emulate high fashion, and knowing that the models are twins adds to the effect. The Editors Blazer by Mink Pink reminds me of a classic Chanel blazer, with the metallic reminiscent of the label's most recent collections, and the Gold Crest Pendant by Chosen By adds that extra bit of Versace to the outfit.

The twin on the left represents timeless class, especially with the Rock n Roll hand painted leather gloves by Grimm Noir and the fur vest. Even though the twin on the right is a symbol of the more rebellious fashion stream - note the African Print Suit by Achea-Mpong by Mutesi Designs, the Spike earring by Grimm Noir and Black Lace Halter Neck by Magical Wonderland, the two form a yin and yang of fashion. |
(left) Mocking Bird '70s dress by Laurel & Hector Vintage, Fur/Leather Jacket by Laksmono (right) Gold Eclipse by Magical Wonderland, Jaxon Necklace by Kuerida, Good Girls Gone Bad Lave Mini by Laurel & Hector Vintage One of the campaign's final photographs (above) encapsulate the overall atmosphere of the coming Bizarre Bazaar event - "Sophisticated Rebellion". The Fur/Leather Jacket by Laksmono is very Rock n Roll, whilst the Mocking Bird '70s dress and the Good Girls Gone Bad Lace Mini by Laurel & Hector Vintage add timeless glamour.
