A few days ago, the sad news of the passing of the famous Anna Piaggi, esteemed Senior Fashion Journalist for Vogue Italia and Vanity magazine, shook the fashion world. Anna is one of my fashion heroines, and she was one of the many inspiration people to drive me to pursue my career in the fashion industry, especially in journalism. Her surrealist and theatrical style has never been surpassed by any other, and her down-to-earth personality brought her a following of close friends, including Karl Lagerfeld, Diane Pernet and Stefano Gabbana. May she rest in peace forever.
